Since we built our big backyard play structure, we naturally haven't been going to the local playgrounds.  But today, we ventured down to Sudbury, MA to visit my sister's family and we met up at the playground there.  The boys had a great time, and with extra eyes to watch them, I even managed to avoid a nervous breakdown.

Trebuchet - 208/365

Finally got a shot of this rather bizarre set-up.  Here we have, in the middle-of-nowhere NH, a trebuchet.  Actually, several!

Big Boy Swing - 207/365

When did they get bigger?  Tom can now ride on the wooden swing, and Sam is coming down the scary ladder from the bridge!  Tom actually started climbing down the ladder too, but not when I had my camera ready.  :)

So, I woke up on the morning of the 27th and a few minutes later had a horrible sinking feeling in my stomach.  I hadn't taken any pictures the day before!  NO!  How could that be??  I ran down the stairs, and grabbed my camera, sure that it would just confirm my fears, and lo and behold there were two test-focus shots there!  Okay, not great art, but still, it made me one happy snapper!

I belong to a local photographer's club and we decided to have a little shooting meeting at my place with our kids as models.  What fun!

With the temperature climbing, we succumbed to the pressure of AIR CONDITIONING, but still have it set at 79degrees, making for some steamy temperatures in the nursery.

We have upgraded to a larger foam glider.  Thomas loves chasing it.

The boys, particularly Thomas, have really gotten into building their train tracks across the floor.  It's adorable how intense they get about it.

Apparently tricycles don't work very well on grass.

Pool Outing - 196/365

Today we joined the rest of my family on a pool outing.  The boys had a wonderful time splashing around in the water and we had to remind ourselves that no, we really don't want a pool of our own, because the upkeep is a pain and around here you only get to use it two months of the year.  But MY, it is tempting!

Triplet Maternity - Take Two! - 195/365

My friend has almost made it to her scheduled due date with TRIPLETS, and in honor of that, she requested a few more pictures.  We'd done an earlier session and hadn't imagined she'd make it this far.  As someone who carried twins, I can only say my hat's off to her!

A few macro shots.  The flower in the second shot is butterfly bush, and the teeeeeensy worm is crawling on one individual floweret.  It was probably shorter than the width of my pinkie finger nail!
